Late Sunday afternoon on September 17th, residents held a neighborhood social to welcome fall.   Trish Potts in 112B graciously hosted the event in her beautiful garage.  Despite the less-than-ideal weather, delicious food and great conversation made for a most enjoyable get-together.

As you all know, we have few children in the neighborhood, but we are blessed with many pets.  On Monday night, October 30th from 6:00PM to 8:00PM, we will be hosting our very own Wag-O-Ween in the neighborhood.  Dress up your furry friend, and go trick-or treating for pet treats.  Please turn on the lights above your garage so pet owners know who is participating.   This date was chosen so that any grandparents in the community who may wish to see their grandchildren on Halloween can do so.  The date was also selected so that it did not conflict with Savannah's Wag-O-Ween which will be held on October 21st and 22nd.

On the topic of pets, Grace and Joel Barr were able to recently reunite a lost dog named Omar with its owner, and asked that I share the information below with the community.

There is a Facebook page....Lost and Found Pets in Savannah, Georgia.   It can be used to post photos and notices of lost or found pets and how to contact the owner.
